Danialand: Agadir's water park

Danialand opened in June 2024 (at 180 MAD then). It belongs to the Danialand group, the same company behind the Agadir cable car. It is a classic outdoor water park with slides and pools, aimed at families, with food stalls and lounger areas.

There is no working official online shop: you pay at the gate. Resellers sell a ticket with return hotel transfer, which is useful if you are staying in Taghazout or outside the centre.

Season and hours

  • Opens: early April.
  • Peak: 11 July – 31 August, with higher prices and full weekends.
  • Closes: not confirmed. September and October opening could not be verified, so phone ahead.
  • Hours: about 10:00–18:00 daily in season; another listing gives 11:00–19:00.

The weather fits the season: Agadir's highs are about 25–27 °C from June to September, with almost no rain. Month-by-month details are in the best time to visit Agadir, and today's conditions on Agadir weather today.

What to bring and tips

  1. Arrive at opening if you want a lounger in the shade.
  2. Bring towels from your hotel, swimwear, sunscreen and hats.
  3. Bring cash for extras, and ID or 200 MAD for the locker deposit.
  4. Eat outside if you like: the hand stamp lets you leave and come back in.
  5. Avoid July–August weekends if you can; they are packed with Moroccan families on holiday.

Getting there

Danialand's exact street address is not published; taxi drivers know it, and the Google Plus Code is C9Q8+84 Agadir. A petit taxi within the city typically costs 15–30 MAD by day; insist on the meter (see Agadir scams for taxi tricks). Headout's ticket with return hotel transfer at €40 is the easy option from Taghazout or the outskirts.

Other water parks and alternatives

We could not verify any other operating water park in Agadir. "Aqualand Agadir" shows up in some listings, but we found nothing confirming it exists or is open. Many of the big hotels have their own slides, so check your hotel before paying for a day out.

Outside the water-park season, or as a free alternative:

  • The beach. Six kilometres of sand, lifeguards from about mid-June to mid-September, 08:00–20:00. A black flag means no swimming; rip currents are a real danger. See Agadir beaches.
  • Crocoparc. Open 364 days a year, 100 MAD adults, 70 MAD children. See Crocoparc tickets.
  • A boat trip from the marina, from €15 for an hour. See Agadir boat trips.
