We do not sell or link Dolphin World tickets. TripAdvisor rates it 3.2/5 and refuses to sell it because it "does not meet our animal welfare guidelines". This page gives you the facts so you can decide for yourself, plus the alternatives we would choose.
What Dolphin World is
Dolphin World Agadir is a dolphinarium: captive dolphins in pools, performing in scheduled shows. It is on the seafront in Anza, the northern district of Agadir past the port, a few hundred metres from the Anza dinosaur footprints. It opened around 2018. Reported residents are about four dolphins and a seal, with a beluga said to be planned; the animals came from a facility in Russia.
It is not the same thing as seeing dolphins at sea. If that is what you are hoping for, skip to the alternatives.

The welfare debate
The dolphinarium was controversial before it opened. In 2017 a petition and NGOs, including Marine Connection and local groups, opposed the project. The core arguments against dolphinariums in general are that pools are a tiny fraction of the range wild dolphins swim, and that shows and swim-with sessions are performances that put the animals under stress. Supporters of such parks argue that they let people see marine mammals up close; at Agadir, the operator has not published welfare information that we could find.
The clearest signal for travellers comes from the booking side: TripAdvisor refuses to sell bookings for Dolphin World because it does not meet the platform's animal-welfare guidelines. We follow the same line and do not sell or link it.
