The official shuttle vs reseller tours

Crocoparc is 15 km out of town, so getting there is the real cost. You have three options:

OptionPrice per adultWhat you get
Official package250 MAD (~€23)Return shuttle, entry, guided tour, welcome tea
Reseller tours (GYG, Viator)€14–23Skip-the-line ticket or ticket + transfer; some add the argan goats
Headout ticket + transfer€30Entry and round-trip hotel transfer
Taxi on your ownRoughly 150–250 MAD per car return with waitingFreedom; entry paid on top

The official shuttle leaves at 09:30 and 14:45 from the Uniprix supermarket in Agadir, on certain days only; hotel pickup is possible on request by phone (+212 528 29 79 31). Call a day ahead to confirm it runs. For a family of four, a taxi with waiting time plus gate tickets can beat every package; for one or two people, the official package or a cheap reseller transfer is simpler. Read what the reseller price includes: a €14 "ticket" without transport is more than the 100 MAD gate price.

Opening hours

  • Every day: 10:00–17:30, 364 days a year. The ticket office closes 30 minutes earlier, at 17:00.
  • Ramadan: 10:00–17:00.
  • Eid al-Adha: closed on the first day (expected around 16 May in 2027), 10:00–18:00 on the second day.
  • The park says hours "vary by season" without publishing the details; check the official page before going late in the day, or see our Agadir opening hours tool.

Getting there

The park is on the RN8 at kilometre 16, in Drarga, on the road from Agadir towards Taroudant. It is not walkable from town.

  1. Official shuttle: from Uniprix Agadir at 09:30 or 14:45 (certain days), 250 MAD with entry.
  2. Taxi: a taxi hired for the trip, expect roughly 150–250 MAD return with waiting. Agree the price and the waiting time before you leave.
  3. City bus: Alsa lines L5 (Vallée des Oiseaux – Drarga) and L9 (Inezgane – Drarga) go to Drarga. Ask the driver to drop you at the stop nearest PK 16; it is the cheapest option but the least certain.
  4. Hire car: follow the RN8 east out of Agadir. If you are driving on to Taroudant, Crocoparc is on the way.

What's inside

  • 300+ Nile crocodiles, plus desert crocodiles.
  • Reptile house: pythons and anacondas, iguanas and tortoises.
  • Marmosets, the small monkeys that children love.
  • Five themed gardens along the visit.
  • Feeding: up to five times a day in summer. In winter crocodiles may go months without being fed, so do not count on a show in the cool season.

Plan 1.5–2.5 hours. Arrive at opening for cooler air; in summer, the crocodiles are most active on warm afternoons, when the feedings happen.

Crocoparc Agadir: frequently asked questions

How much are Crocoparc Agadir tickets?

100 MAD (~€9) for adults and 70 MAD (~€6.50) for children aged 3–12, paid at the gate. There is no separate price for residents. An annual VIP card costs 199 MAD (adult) or 149 MAD (child).

Can I buy Crocoparc tickets online?

Not from Crocoparc: the official site publishes prices and hours but has no online shop. You pay at the gate, or reserve by phone on +212 528 29 79 31. Platforms like GetYourGuide sell tickets and transfer packages for €14–23, which include a mark-up on the 100 MAD gate price.

What are Crocoparc opening hours?

Daily 10:00–17:30, 364 days a year; the ticket office closes 30 minutes earlier. During Ramadan it is 10:00–17:00. It is closed on the first day of Eid al-Adha (and opens 10:00–18:00 on the second day). Hours vary by season, so check the official page before a late visit.

How do I get to Crocoparc from Agadir?

Crocoparc is at PK 16 on the RN8 in Drarga, about 15 km east of Agadir towards Taroudant. Options: the official shuttle package (250 MAD including entry, guide and tea), a taxi with waiting time (expect roughly 150–250 MAD return), a reseller tour with hotel pickup, or Alsa buses L5 or L9 to Drarga (ask the driver for the stop nearest PK 16).

When are the crocodiles fed?

Feeding is a summer thing: up to five times a day in the hot months. In winter the crocodiles may not be fed for months. If seeing a feeding matters, go in summer and ask at the gate for the times.

How long do you need at Crocoparc?

1.5–2.5 hours inside. With transport from Agadir, plan a half day (3–4 hours door to door).

Is Crocoparc good for kids?

Yes, it is one of the best family outings around Agadir: 300+ crocodiles, snakes, iguanas, tortoises and marmosets in five themed gardens. Children 3–12 pay 70 MAD. Shade is limited at midday, so bring hats and water.

Is Crocoparc worth it?

For families and animal lovers, yes: more than 300 crocodiles is a lot to see for 100 MAD. Without kids and in winter (no feeding), it is a pleasant 1.5 hours of gardens rather than a highlight.
